  • The most respectful and effective way to plan for inclusion is to involve the person and their family.  Get local families to be involved in changing and adapting your culture to be more inclusive.
  • Ask: “What works well for you? What support would you like?”
  • Inclusion doesn’t mean creating separate spaces, it means adjusting so everyone can be part of the same team, in a way that works for them.
